blorp
also written: ask
Talking
Ask the user a question and get their answer as text.
How to write it
blorp "What is your name?"
blorp()
What it does
blorp shows a question and waits for the person to type an answer. The answer comes back as text (goop).
In OGABOOGA CODER a friendly question window pops up. In the terminal the person types into the console.
Example
grunk name = blorp "What is your name?"
oga "Ooga", name, "!"
Tips
- The answer is always text, even if it looks like a number. Use a number box if you need math.
- You can blorp with no question:
grunk answer = blorp()
