Controls
You are a baby: you can carry one big awkward thing in your hands (a fuel can, a teddy, a toddler) plus six small things in the bag.
Click to start. The game uses pointer lock for mouse look. Click the game canvas once to lock your cursor; pressing Esc (or the browser taking focus away) unlocks it and pauses the game in solo play.

Carrying
Big items fill both your hands, so you can only carry one at a time: a fuel can, Mr. Wiggles the hamster, a teddy, or a toddler. Everything else — batteries, snacks, keys, tape, drawings, and so on — goes into six bag slots, selectable with 1–6 and used with R.
Carrying anything in your hands slows you down slightly (more so with a toddler), and holding a teddy specifically reduces how fast your fear rises at night. See Items for the full list and The Night for the fear mechanic.
Talking to Grump
When Grump's dialogue box is open, the number keys 1, 2 and 3 pick an answer directly, in addition to clicking.
